There’s more roadwork starting at midweek. Here are the details:
- Fox Chapel, Indiana and Harmar – A local route with five different names across three communities will have single-lane alternating traffic for drainage improvements, paving and other work beginning Wednesday and lasting through mid-December. The work will be done on Saxonburg Boulevard between Klein and Harts Run roads in Indiana, Harts Run between Saxonburg and Dorseyville Road in Indiana and Fox Chapel, Dorseyville between Harts Run and Fox Chapel roads in Indiana, Fox Chapel between Dorseyville in Indiana and Guys Run Road in Fox Chapel, and Guys Run between Fox Chapel Road in Fox Chapel and Locust Hill Road in Harmar.
- Mount Royal Boulevard – This road in Hampton and Shaler will have single-lane alternating traffic between Route 8 and Grant Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays until mid-December. The restrictions will allow crews to mill and pave the roadway, among other improvements. When paving occurs, the restrictions will last past 4 p.m. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.
- Jacks Run Road – The road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. between Balsam Street and Aspen Trail in Ross beginning Wednesday and lasting for several days and perhaps into next week. Crews will replace a stormwater pipe during the closure. Detours will be posted. Residents on Jacks Run Road will be able to get to their homes at all times.
