Over 6,400 people woke up early Thanksgiving morning to participate in the 32nd annual YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh Turkey Trot, presented by UPMC Health Plan. Trotters had the choice of participating in a 5K or a 5-miler, both of which started and ended on the North Shore and went through Downtown via the Andy Warhol Bridge. Those looking for a shorter run also had the option to do the 1-Mile Family Fun Run through the North Shore. Proceeds from the event benefit the YMCA food pantry programs and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
