More than 125 taco meals were served Monday to clients at the Light of Life Rescue Mission on the North Side. Chris and Tina Pfanstiel, owners of Bull River Taco Co., provided the meals.

Tina Pfanstiel said five different tacos were available — chicken, beef, pork, spicy beef and vegetable.

“The tacos were made to order,” said Tina. “This was our first time serving tacos at the Light of Life. Anytime we can give back to the community, it’s fabulous.”

Annie Cairns, Light of Life’s marketing and communication manager, said the organization will have served more than 500,000 meals by the end of this year.

“It’s a great experience for our clients to have something unique for dinner,” Cairns said.
