Arguably the world’s foremost alien superstar will be coming through Pittsburgh later this year.

Wednesday morning has been a monumental one for sports and entertainment news. Shortly after Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement for the second time in less than two years, Beyoncé revealed her upcoming “Renaissance” world tour via her website and Instagram.

While her first stop in the United States will be Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field on July 12, she is scheduled to hit Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on Aug. 3. It’s worth mentioning that her official website originally listed that particular North Shore venue as Heinz Field, its previous name, before changing it to its new moniker of Acrisure Stadium.

Tickets aren’t available yet, and her website just says they will go on sale “soon.”

“Renaissance” tickets going live will be a fascinating test for Ticketmaster, which has been embroiled in controversy after thousands of fans complained about the service after being unable to acquire tickets to any stops on Taylor Swift’s upcoming tour.

Beyoncé is joining a lineup of Acrisure Stadium summer shows that also includes Luke Combs on April 29, Taylor Swift on June 16-17 and Ed Sheeran on July 8.
