Lots of events have spirits and beers, wines and ciders. But one Sunday in East Huntingdon in the Laurel Highlands also has fire.

The first Bonfires, Barrels & Brews event will be crackling from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Yinzer Valley Farms cidery and event space (681 Mulberry Hill Road, Mount Pleasant, 15666).

Sponsored by the GO Laurel Highlands tourist organization, the event will feature craft beverages of its Pour Tour as well as food trucks, vendors and live music for adults 21 and older.

The tour, which comes with its own passport that travelers can fill with stickers to earn prizes, links nearly 50 craft beverage makers across Fayette, Somerset and Westmoreland counties.

Admission to this event — $40 — includes an event passport sticker, a long-sleeve (of course) T-shirt, tasting glass and beverage check for purchases. You can get tickets at https://www.golaurelhighlands.com/plan/pour-tour/bonfires-barrels-brews/.

Eric Knopsnyder, Go Laurel Highland’s director of public relations and community outreach, says, “Yinzer Valley Farms will be pouring Irish coffee, nonalcoholic hot cider and a bloody mary bar.” It also offers some beautiful scenery from the hexagonal former clubhouse of what used to be Timber Ridge Golf Club.
