The Parkways East and West will be featured in this weekend’s roadwork. Here are the details:
- Parkway West — Part of the eastbound highway in Collier and Robinson will be reduced to a single lane of traffic over the weekend. The restriction will limit the highway to one lane from Ridge Road to the Interstate 79 interchange from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Crews will repair the deck of the bridge over Boyce Road as part of a $12.6 million upgrade of that area of the highway. The project should be finished in January.
- Parkway East — Bridges between Churchill and Edgewood will be inspected from 6 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday, which will result in traffic being reduced to one lane. Outbound bridges will be inspected on Saturday from the Edgewood-Swissvale interchange to the Greensburg Pike exit. On Sunday, crews will inspect inbound bridges between the Wilkinsburg and Edgewood-Swissvale interchanges. All ramps will remain open.
