Limited roadwork is scheduled this weekend. Here’s what is expected:
- Route 837 – Inbound traffic won’t be able to use the thru-traffic lane under the Rankin Bridge in Whitaker from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday to avoid the traffic light at the bridge. That’s because the lane will be closed to allow crews from the Azalea Group and Sofis Co. to inspect the bridge.
- Interstate 79 – Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane that will use the shoulder from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday between the Parkway West Airport/Pittsburgh and Route 60 Moon Run/Crafton interchanges. Crews will do concrete patching during the restriction.
Work on the Parkway West has been postponed due to weather.
