One new project and a major change have been added to this week’s roadwork:
- Route 30 – Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday through mid-December between Broad Street and Denning Way in North Versailles. The restriction will allow crews to widen the road, repair shoulders, replace curbs and drill the foundation for new signals.
- Old William Penn Highway – The road in Monroeville will close at 6 a.m. Wednesday between Evergreen Drive and Duff Road through late September. The closure will allow crews to demolish the existing bridge over the Parkway East. Detours will be posted. A new bridge has been built as part of the $70.1 million project to upgrade the Parkway East between Churchill and Monroeville.
