Work from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. will include bridge deck compression seal replacement, shoulder backup, overhead sign structure preservation, drainage, tree trimming, and delineator replacement work in both directions on Route 60 between Lorish Road and Old Steubenville Pike; between the Parkway West Airport/Pittsburgh interchange and approximately one-half mile north of the Route 60 Moon Run/Crafton interchange; and on the Parkway West between the I-79 interchange and the on-ramp from I-79.
- Cumberland Road – Sections of the road in McCandless will have single-lane alternating traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Monday and lasting until early November for gas line replacement. The restrictions will be at Cumberland’s intersection with Guenevere Drive and between Lancelot and Plateau drives. D&M Contracting is replacing the lines for Peoples Gas.
- Route 28 – There will be weeknight traffic restrictions in two sections of the highway in Pittsburgh and Millvale beginning Monday. From 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, the southbound ramp to Millvale will be closed and highway traffic will be reduced to one lane near the exit for electrical work on the ramp. Detours will be posted. Beginning Wednesday and lasting weeknights through Oct. 24, the northbound off-ramp to the 31st Street Bridge will close to work on guide rails, pavement marking and sign installation. Detours will be posted. The work is part of the $4.8 million project to install equipment that will go into operation early next year to warn drivers going the wrong way on the highway.
